Your home data belongs to you.

Last updated 9 August 2026

In short: we store what you put in HomePro so the app can manage your home. We don't sell it. Service providers only receive what a specific job requires. Four other companies process parts of it on our behalf — they're all named below, along with what each one sees.

What we collect

  • Account details — name, email and authentication data
  • Property details — address, characteristics and the systems and assets you add
  • Documents and photos you upload to your Home Vault
  • Maintenance activity, service history and costs you record
  • Analytics about how the site is used — but only if you allow it (see below)

How we use it

To run the features you asked for: building your maintenance schedule, calculating Home Health, organising documents, answering questions about your own home, and routing service requests to providers you choose.

Who else processes it

HomePro is not a single computer. These are every company the running app sends data to, what reaches them, and what happens if you'd rather it didn't.

CompanyWhat it doesWhat it sees
SupabaseStores your home record and signs you inEverything you save — address, systems, documents, history
AnthropicRuns the AI features — Ask HomePro, reading invoices and inspection reports, checking a quote, looking up a propertyOnly what a feature needs at the moment you use it: your question, the photo or PDF you chose, or the quote you pasted. It is not used to train their models, and nothing is sent when you aren't using an AI feature.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics is the only tracking on this site, it is switched off until you allow it, and declining costs you nothing — every page and feature works exactly the same either way. We don't run ad pixels, and we don't sell or share usage data with advertisers.

Two things are stored in your browser regardless, because the site cannot work without them: your sign-in session, and your answer to the question below. Neither is used for tracking.

Analytics is currently off.

AI features, in plain terms

When you photograph an invoice, upload an inspection report, ask a question, or check a quote, that content is sent to Anthropic to be read. It happens only when you take that action. Anthropic processes it for us under contract and does not use it to train models.

Looking up a property runs a web search to find public records — the search itself contains the address you entered.

Nothing the AI produces is saved to your records on its own. It lands in a form for you to correct and confirm first, and every saved fact keeps a note of where it came from, so you can always tell what a person entered from what a model suggested.

What providers receive

When you book a job, the provider receives a limited packet — the address, the issue, the relevant equipment and history, photos you attach, and access instructions. They do not receive unrelated documents, your financial records, or your whole home file.

What we don't do

  • Sell your personal information
  • Share your home records with providers you haven't engaged
  • Publish anything about your property publicly
  • Run advertising trackers, or analytics you didn't agree to

Your controls

You can export your records, revoke access you have granted, remove documents, turn analytics off above, and delete your account and its data. Deletion lives on your profile and it is real: deleting a home removes its systems, tasks, history, documents and stored files, and deleting your account removes your sign-in along with any home nobody else belongs to. A home you share stays with the people still in it. None of it is recoverable afterwards, by us or by anyone. See data controls for how each of these works.
